Comfortable casita with breathtaking views
MLS number: 400052042177
Vista Atenas, Barrio Jesus, Atenas, Atenas, Costa Rica | House/Villa | Lease
Perched atop Vista Atenas…….there are only three structures a little higher……sits this small but comfortable casita. The jaw dropping views feature mountain sunrises AND Pacific sunsets. Imagine going to sleep at night and as you lie in bed you are gazing at hundreds of twinkling city lights all the way to San Jose. The higher altitude, 3300’, affords a climate with afternoon highs about 8 degrees cooler than town and overnight lows about 2 degrees cooler.
Secluded, yet not remote, enjoy the peace and quiet of being contiguous to a very large coffee plantation, that you, as a resident of one of the 4 houses behind the private, gated drive, have access to hike. Drink morning coffee on the covered balcony while being occasionally serenaded by howler monkeys, tucans, parrots, etc. Security is provided by a patrolling guard from 6:00pm to 6:00 am. There is no passing traffic other than residents at the 3 other houses and the coffee plantation workers who come and leave once a day.
An insta-hot/on demand hot water heater dedicated solely to the casita provides an endless supply of hot water to all fixtures. The tap water is clean, taste great, and is perfectly safe to drink.
Access to this property is all paved, well maintained roads.
Downtown Atenas is 10 minutes away by car, the international airport 35 minutes away, and nearest beach an hour and fifteen minutes away.
The house can be set up as a two bedroom with new, comfortable beds, or a one bedroom with dedicated office. There is a living room/kitchen/dining area with the eastern wall largely comprised of sliding, screened windows. There are “in unit” washer and dryer, no need to carry laundry or share it with anyone.
Utilities, high speed wi -fi
